I was born in Bogota, Colombia. I came here when I was seven and quickly learned how to speak English. I am fluent in both english and spanish; I speak both without an accent. I attended UCLA and earned a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science. I had always planned to go to law school but when I graduated I decided to pay attention to what had been a silent passion for many years-- acting. Everyone around me was surprised that I decided to put law school on hold (some were dissapointed) but I know that acting is something I need to experience. I am currently taking a method acting class with the very prestigious acting coach by the name of Rene Pereyra. He has coached actors for movies like Silence of the Lambs and Traffic amongst countless other great productions. He has helped me come to the realization that I really am a great actress and that I didn\'t make a mistake by choosing this profession. In April of 2005 I will beging additional classes at the Sally Adler Academy.

I took advanced acting classes at Patricia Sturla Studios Inc. I learned how to improvise and how to be aware of my position releative to the camera and/or the audience at all times. I also learned to project my voice and use my body to evoke dialogue. I am currently taking a method acting class at UCLA with the very prestigious Rene Pereyra. He has coached behind the scenes in many movies including Silence of the Lambs and Traffic (among countless other great productions). He has really helped me come full circle as an actress. I respect the craft now more than ever.In April I will beging additional classes at the Sally Adler Academy.

I love to work out (specially Kickbox), I am crazy about horseback riding. I like to read mystery novels and psychological thrillers; I am currently reading the Da Vinci Code. I like to go to low-lit lounges with friends and have great a conversation. I love to spend Sundays with the entire family.
